We will meet for the courses at INTERSECTION ROCK Parking lot.

Directions:

From Palm Springs take Interstate 10 to Highway 62 (Yucca Valley, 29 Palms, Joshua Tree National Park) exit.
Go through Morongo Valley, Yucca Valley and into Joshua Tree.

In Joshua Tree at the second light, turn RIGHT on PARK BOULEVARD – This is the road leading to the WEST ENTRANCE of JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK (there are signs for the West Entrance on Hwy 62 that you will see as you are driving towards Joshua Tree.)

Follow this road for approximately 5 miles to the park entrance. If you arrive before 8:00 a.m. it will probably be closed. If it is open on the way in or out there is a fee of $10 per car or you can buy an annual pass good for all National Parks for $75.

Once through the kiosk, you will go approximately 7 miles. The speed limit will slow to 25 mph and there will be a sign for INTERSECTION ROCK. Turn left into the parking lot and that is where you will meet your guide.
As a note, Intersection Rock is adjacent to the Hidden Valley Campground.

There is a bathroom there in case you need it. There is no running water in the park so be sure to bring at least 2 quarts per person. Also, cell phones do not work in the park.
